Usually I do love to wear some kind of denim on Fridays, it just seems so right…right? Well, today my friends I will showcasing how I wear a casual outfit without the denim. I decided on wearing a bodycon dress, which is quite comfortable, that I purchased from Fashion Nova. To me, being casual depends much on my comfort. If I can’t be comfortable, I feel that I might as well be dressed up formal. At least I’d be uncomfortable yet snazzy in a dramatic way lol.
Today’s look I would definitely wear on a date night, girls night out, or a fun event! I happen to love stripes so this dress grabbed my attention. I paired the dress with a faux leather jacket I picked up while thrifting and a pair of open toe, knee high boots from Nasty Gal. I’ve had these boots for a year or so but they are still on the site, I’m pretty sure. They have that little peek a boo feature in the back that add that extra bit of detail. I know you’ve seen this necklace before, it’s one of my faves it was really cheap. I bought it from Aliexpress.
I had a slight issue with my look. I wore two different pairs of sunnies. The first, I once loved, now I hate lol. They give me that “bug” look that I can’t stand so I will be purging them, immediately. I grabbed a different pair and was much more satisfied with the look.
